Excel_Writer BgColor pattern is not working.

I have set format pattern =>18, it works on ubunto(open office spread sheet) but it does not work WINDOS(MS Excel).

Please give how can i set format that work same on WINDOWS/Ubunto when i export data from web into excel.

Infact background color is there in Both Open Office spread sheet and in MS Excel. But the background style is not same. I want solid background but it does not work on MS Excel.

You've chosen the wrong category.

Are you sure that you want to use setBgColor()? I'd guess that you're looking for setFgColor().
