I used to do this:
$db->affectedRows();

But now I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: MDB2_Driver_oci8::affectedRows()

I saw the following in comment in the notes for
2.5.0b3
Release date: 2010-08-29 12:27 UTC
Release state: beta

"removed affectedRows() method in favor of returning affectedRows() on query if relevant."

I'm not sure what that means. How do I call affectedRows now?

Or is maybe it's only available w/ MySql?

Thanks.

affected_rows() just calls the selected drivers’ PHP function. As insert_batch() inserts the data with 100 rows at the same time, the figure could be incorrect (as you’ll only see the last insert operation), but you see something else than zero.
Are you using transactions? If so, after a commit, the counter is reset to zero.
