I'm having a strange problem using Image_Graph. I have managed to get these classes working correctly on my development machine, and it will produce images such as this:

This is one of the test examples, and it appears exactly as it should. I've also created a variety of charts that also work fine.

However, when I run the same code on my deployment server, using the same version of Image_Graph, the text is yellow and a bit smaller than on the test machine:

This is really weird! Every image I create on the deployment server using Image_Graph comes out with this sort of text! It happens if I use different fonts too.

If anyone has any suggestions or pointers that I can try I'd really appreciate it.

thanks a lot

Just a guess: Different PHP versions? Different GD versions?

They are different PHP versions it's true - my own machine is running the latest PHP v5, and the live server is on 4.4.2.

As for GD, phpinfo() reports that the live server is bundled (2.0.28 compatible), and my machine is 2.0 or higher.

I have wondered if the different PHP version could be the cause, however the Image_Graph package does state it's compatible with both PHP4 and PHP5. Also there are no bugs reported related to text rendering for the Image_Graph package with PHP 4 (or 5 for that matter!).

It's almost as if there's some default setting somewhere for font colour and size, which is changed on the live machine, but I certainly can't find anything.

Thanks for your thoughts though! Smile
